MANAGING DIRECTOR: MRS. BALVINDER KAUR

With an experience of over 38 years in academics Mrs. Balvinder Kaur, one of the founding members of Doaba Public Sen. Sec. School has crossed many milestones of success with the school. She has also won many state and national awards for her contribution to the field of education in the region. Popular among the students and staff, with a very positive soul she is the leading light of the school. Her words are taken as guiding principles by the staff and students as they are enriched with lifelong experience. Her presence in itself is a guiding strength for the school which provides ideas for nurturing the young minds, tomorrow’s nation builders at every step.

DEAN: MRS. HARPREET KAUR

An ex student of the school herself, a graduate in science with bachelors degree in education, Mrs. Harpreet joined the school as a teacher and rose to the post of Dean – Student Welfare in the year 2017. With her dynamically intellectual personality, she has been the force behind the modernization of the school. She has changed the outlook of the school with her exceptional organizational and motivational skills She has diverse international exposure as she visits different countries in search of finding something new and exceptionally creative for the students. She plans and organizes skill enhancing projects involving traditional lifestyles to expose the students to old values. She implements new methods and techniques beneficial for children. As a great admirer of music, art and culture she left no stone unturned to promote the same through various activities. An excellent orator, with effective leadership qualities, she guides and works for the overall functioning of the school.

VICE-PRINCIPAL: MRS. SATYA MINHAS

One of the founding members, Mrs. Satya Minhas joined the school in the year 1986 as a Teacher and rose to the post of Vice-Principal in the year 2015. With a vast experience of more than 30 years she is responsible for guiding the teaching faculty in their day to day Teaching- Learning Methodology for a Child-Centered learning outcomes. She has attended international conferences in England and USA for upgrading the new methodologies in the field of education. She is capable of handling all issues related to students’ behaviour as well as academics. School literary club also runs under her able guidance that works for enhancing creativity skills amongst students. She holds a very respectful place among the teaching faculty and students.

MANAGER(ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS): MRS. NAVREET RAI

Mrs. Navreet Rai is a graduate in managerial economics from University of California (Davis), USA and has an MBA from California State University (Hayward), USA. She also has work experience of over six years in banking from USA. She joined the School as a manager for Administrative affairs and takes care of the day to day workings in the admin office. She also acts as a liaison between the principal and rest of the admin staff. In addition to her managerial skills, her command over English language gives her excellent communication and PR skills which help her to improve teachers’ as well as students’ communication skills.

PRINCIPAL: MR. GOBIND LUTHRA

Mr Gobind Luthra is Post Graduate in Commerce with the bachelors degree in education joined the institution as PGT Commerce and rose to the Post of School Manager for Academic Affairs pertaining Scholastic and Co-Scholastic Areas. He is the Principal of the school looking into the planning of curriculum and activities. He has attended a workshop on FCE for Training students for ESOL. He has also been appreciated by Cambridge ESOL for Training students for FCE. He is an able Orator with good command over Communication skills for organizing and delivering formal functions with people at large.

STUDENTS LIAISON OFFICER: MRS SEEMA RANI

Mrs Seema Joined the school in the year 2010 as a primary teacher. Due to her hard work and competency, she is now taking care of Parents Liasion and is responsible for coordinating all activities between management and her department. She is very detail oriented and a wonderful coordinator. Mrs Seema has been to many workshops on CCE implementation and has a vast experience in dealing with all CBSE related issues. So, she acts as a liaison between the CBSE regional office and the school’s academia to make sure that all CBSE scholastic and co-scholastic requirements are fulfilled properly and in time.

HOD SENIOR SCHOOL: MRS. KAMALJIT KAUR

Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur BA B.ed, has been associated with the school since 1997. She started her career with the school as a Primary Teacher and worked her way up to become HOD Senior School and is responsible for overall discipline and making sure that students are imparted value based education along with their syllabus for making them refined citizens. Under Mrs. Kamaljit’s guidance, senior wing students have shown great improvement academically as well as in their overall personality development. Her focus on discipline has helped the school produce well mannered and sophisticated young citizens for our society.

HOD JUNIOR SCHOOL: MRS. HARVINDER KAUR

Mrs. Harvinder Kaur BA , NTT has been working with the institution since 1997 and her passion for molding the little ones rose her to the Post Of HOD of Junior School. She is a perfectionist in her job and responsible for guiding the teaching faculty for framing & implementing activities for Juniors and strengthening their base. Under Mrs. Harvinder’s guidance, our junior school has seen great improvement. She keeps the staff in her wing motivated and dedicated towards molding the future of our young ones. Teachers learn from her kind and gentle behaviour and follow her lead in shaping a strong base for the youngest members of the school’s family.

HOD SPORTS DEPARTMENT: MR. MOHINDER PAL SINGH

Mr. Mohinder Pal Singh, M.PEd by qualification joined the organization in the year 1997. He has attended Special Physical Fitness Training and Professional Orientation Program at Gwalior Laxmi Bai University of Physical Education. He has also gone through conference and exchange programmes in USA in order to take his instruction methods to the next level. Under his expert guidance, our students have won many state and national level awards in Atheletics, Football & Kho-Kho. With an experience of 18 years in his field he proves to be an irreplaceable asset for the school.

HOD DEPT OF MUSIC AND DANCE: DR. SANGITA BEDAR KUSHWAHA

ounder and Artistic Director of Sangita’s Studio of Performing Arts, Dr. Sangeeta is a dance educator, choreographer and performer has been perusing North Indian Classical Dance-Kathak for the past 24years. . A Chief Minister awardee (Punjab) for her meritorious services in the fields of Art and culture, she is PHD in Indian classical Music and Dance . She is a principle promoter of dance culture in the Punjab region ,is widely travelled and with her global experience brings the latest dance styles and concepts to her students in Doaba Public School. Dr. Sangita has revolutionized Indian-Western dance over and over again in Punjab – most notably by introducing Salsa in 2005 and then bringing Belly dancing in 2009 .Her commitment to the Preservation and propagation of rich tapestry of Indian Classical Performing Arts and other dances has turned her into a zealous and committed organizer, providing a platform to the young , unknown but talented future torchbearers of the dance tradition.
